And that's it. 23 years. 12+ seasons. Thousands of games. More memories than can be counted. And it was over. Never again would Strat-O-Matic baseball be played by the boys known as the Magnificent 7. It was just not logistically possible.

Joe moved to Seattle. Dan moved to Rhode Island. John retired and move to sunny Babylon. Frank had enough children to field his own baseball team. For a new Strato league to be formed it would take a series of events so extreme, so bizarre, so out of the realm of possibility, that it couldn't possibly happen.

And then it happened.
